Earlier this year we featured in a farmers journal article on fuel management. The article was based on a survey of two farming contractors and their use of our fuel management system. The article highlights some interesting facts and certainly makes for a good read.

“Fuel costs are significant for any agricultural contracting or tillage farming business. For contractors and larger tillage farmers, in particular, fuel costs require special attention during peak seasons.
During our recent contractor charges survey, we found that many contractors were using between 80,000 and 120,000 litres of fuel per year. What was equally astonishing was that some were not aware of how much diesel they used in their business in 2013.”
