PIUSI B.SMART BOX Cloud-Based Fuel Management System

The PIUSI B.SMART BOX Fuel Management System is PIUSI’s first fully cloud-based solution, providing fleet managers with real-time, remote visibility and control of fuel usage across single or multiple locations. The B.SMART BOX can be retro fitted to any existing pump set up for diesel, AdBlue, oil or water provided a pulse meter is fitted to the outlet of the existing pump.

PIUSI B.SMART BOX 

Fuel dispensing is securely activated by drivers using a licensed iOS or Android smartphone app via Bluetooth. Once refuelling is complete, all transaction data is automatically uploaded to the cloud. Fleet managers can instantly monitor fuel usage through a centralised, easy-to-use online portal, accessible from PC, tablet, or smartphone—anytime, anywhere in Ireland. This removes the need for manual fuel logs, paperwork, or on-site inspections.

A major advantage of the PIUSI B.SMART BOX fuel management system in Ireland is that it can be retro fitted to any existing diesel pump set up which greatly increases the cost efficiency. Unlike many cloud-based fuel management solutions, there are no ongoing subscription fees or hosting charges. The system is purchased outright, with no recurring annual costs, making it a highly cost-effective solution for Irish fleet operators.

Fleet managers can access comprehensive refuelling reports that include date and time, fuel volume, driver and vehicle identification, odometer or hour readings, dispenser, and site location. Access permissions can be managed remotely, allowing managers to add, remove, or block drivers as required. Fuel dispensing is restricted to authorised users with the licensed mobile app, helping prevent fuel theft and unauthorised usage.

Smartphone App–Operated Fuel Control

Each driver installs the PIUSI B.SMART app on their smartphone, connecting to the fuel pump via Bluetooth. The system includes an unlimited vehicle licence, allowing any authorised driver to select the correct vehicle registration or fleet number from a dropdown menu or search function.

Before dispensing fuel, drivers enter the vehicle mileage or machine hour reading and can choose to refuel fully or set a pre-determined fuel amount. Once dispensing is complete, the app automatically sends all refuelling data to the cloud, including date, time, driver, vehicle registration, mileage, and litres dispensed—ensuring accurate fuel tracking across Irish fleets.

B.SMART Cloud Portal – Manager Access

Fleet managers can log in to the B.SMART cloud portal remotely at any time, from any device, including PC, tablet, or smartphone. Multiple managers can access the portal simultaneously.

From the portal, managers can:

• Manage drivers and vehicles

• View fuel transactions in real time

• Generate detailed fuel usage and performance reports

As the system is fully cloud-based, there is no reliance on USB devices, servers, or on-site hardware. Drivers and vehicles can be temporarily blocked or reactivated remotely, ensuring full control over fuel access across multiple sites in Ireland. Only users registered on the cloud system can operate the pump, preventing unauthorised access.

The system ensures highly accurate data, as drivers are prompted to enter required information directly through the app during refuelling. This allows Irish businesses to monitor fuel consumption more precisely, reduce waste, and improve fleet efficiency.
