Aga Cooker Additive

Here at Rotech we are the official distributor for Exocet additives. One of the most popular additives we distribute is the Aga cooker additive, this additive has a number of positive features when used regularly and has been known to extend service intervals.

The additives key features;

• Lowers char value
• Reduces build up of carbon deposits and soot
• Inhibits growth of deposits in fuel storage
• Increases the fuel shelf life
• Reduces service problems

Application;
Although the Char Value of domestic kerosene
(BS2869:C2) has an upper limit of 20mg/kg, fi eld
experience since 2008 indicates that for numerous
reasons fuel is actually being supplied with Char Values
in the range 16-30mg/kg. The situation is not improving
and is having a serious negative impact on the
performance of range cookers (e.g. AGAs, Rayburns,
Waterford-Stanleys, etc), where carbon build-up around
the burner is now commonplace. This results is variable
heat output and poor controllability.
