IBC Bund Steel or Plastic

Bunds are an essential spill containment solution for the safe storage of IBCs. Available in both steel and plastic, these bunds are great for collecting spills and leaks from IBC tanks. These bunds provide a very clean and safe storage solution to keep any workshop, warehouse or garage clean, safe and free from any oil spillages or drips.

Impressive Sump Capacity

Both the steel bund and the plastic bund have a 1100 litre capacity, so they can hold 110% of a full IBC tank. This means if an IBC tank was to fail, the bund will contain the contents of the tank. The large sump capacity also allows for the sump to contain any slow leaks or drips over a greater course of time before emptying is required. 

IBC Tank Drip Tray

The Plastic bund also has a front facing drip tray which goes under the tap of the IBC to ensure that it contains any drips or leaks while attaching hoses or IBC fittings such as the the IBC to hose tail adapter. 

Durable & Resistant

The steel bund is manufactured from powder-coated steel with a zinc plated grid cover. Powder-coated steel has great durability and resistance to corrosion and abrasion. This makes it extremely low-maintenance. The plastic bund also has a very long lasting life, manufactured from recycled polyethylene, it has a high chemical resistance and is compatible with a wide range of liquids 

Oil Safety & Storage Regulations

It is important to follow oil storage regulations and guidelines when storing large volumes. An IBC Tank is a single skin tank, therefore if an incident occurs the liquid would not be contained as there is no outer bund which poses the risk of spillages if the tank is compromised. By storing IBC tanks on a bund, they guarantee that any incident is fully contained in the bund underneath, ensuring that the area remains safe and reduces the environmental impact that a spill could have.
